Day 1 – December 23: Arrival in Oulu & Northern Lights Safari
Arrive at Oulu Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy lunch or relax in a traditional Finnish sauna. In the evening, head out on a Northern Lights hunting safari. If the skies are cloudy, gather around a campfire for local stories, hot drinks, and the peaceful glow of the winter forest. Overnight in Oulu.

Day 2 – December 24: Christmas Eve Celebration in Oulu
Spend Christmas Eve at leisure exploring Oulu’s festive streets, local shops, and winter charm. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner with mulled wine, decorated trees, and Santa’s elves making a joyful appearance with gifts and music. Overnight in Oulu.

Day 3 – December 25: Christmas Day with Arctic Animals
Begin with a visit to Ranua Wildlife Park to see Arctic species like polar bears and lynx, followed by lunch. Continue to a husky kennel for a thrilling sled ride through snowy trails and meet the friendly dogs. End the day at a reindeer farm with a sleigh ride and a “reindeer driver’s license” ceremony. Return to Oulu for a festive dinner and sauna.

Day 4 – December 26: Day Trip to Rovaniemi & Santa Claus Village
Travel to Rovaniemi, Lapland’s capital and Santa’s hometown. Visit Santa Claus Village, cross the Arctic Circle, and meet Santa himself. Explore charming gift shops before visiting the Arktikum Museum, where Arctic history and culture come alive through interactive exhibits. Return to Oulu for overnight stay.

Day 5 – December 27: Optional Arctic Adventures
Choose from optional experiences:
Icebreaker Cruise (Arktis or Sampo) with transfer from Oulu
Snowmobile ride across frozen landscapes
Snowshoeing adventure in Finnish nature
Hailuoto Island tour with scenic coastal views
Enjoy your final evening in Oulu at leisure.

Day 6 – December 28: Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Oulu Airport for your onward flight.
